Frequently Asked Questions
-
No, you do not need to be home. As long as we have clear access to the lawn (unlocked gates) and there are no pets in the yard, we can get the job done while you are at work or out for the day. We will send you a message when the job is finished.
-
We are based locally and proudly service the entire Ipswich region. If you live in Ipswich or the surrounding suburbs, we can come to you.
-
Getting a quote is simple and free. You can contact us through our website or give us a call. We will generally look at your property (either in person or via satellite imagery if appropriate) to give you an honest, upfront price based on the size of your yard and the condition of the grass.
-
We try to make payment as easy as possible for you. We accept bank transfers and cash. We will provide you with the payment details once the job is completed or upon agreement of the quote.
-
This is Queensland, so rain is part of the job. If the weather is too wet to mow safely or to get a good finish on your lawn, we will contact you immediately to reschedule. We pride ourselves on communication, so you won’t be left wondering where we are.
-
We love dogs, but for the safety of your pet and our staff, we ask that you keep your pets inside or secured in a separate area while we are working. We also appreciate it if the yard is clear of any pet mess before we arrive, as this helps us keep our equipment clean and your lawn looking its best.
-
This depends on the season. In the Ipswich summer, grass grows incredibly fast, so we usually recommend a fortnightly service to keep it under control. In the cooler winter months, you might only need a visit once every three to four weeks. We can discuss a schedule that works best for your lawn and your budget
-
We don’t just run the mower over the middle and leave. A standard service includes mowing the grass, whipper snipping the edges and fence lines for a neat finish, and blowing down your paths and driveway so your property looks tidy when we leave.
-
Yes, we can definitely tame overgrown lawns. However, if the grass is significantly longer than average (knee-high or resembling a jungle), the first cut will take us longer and is harder on our equipment. We will give you a specific quote for this initial cleanup, and then standard pricing will apply for regular maintenance after that.
-
We generally catch the grass clippings to leave a clean finish. We can remove the green waste for you, or if you have a compost bin or designated area on your property, we can leave them there. Just let us know your preference when we provide your quote.
-
No, we believe our quality work should speak for itself. You are not locked into any long-term contracts. We are happy to arrange a regular fortnightly or monthly schedule, but you can change or cancel this at any time with reasonable notice.
-
Yes, we can help with other yard maintenance tasks. We often assist with hedge trimming, weed spraying, and general garden tidy-ups. If you have a specific job in mind, just ask us during the quote process and we will let you know if we can handle it.
