Drop Bear Mowing wasn’t born in a boardroom. It started right here in our backyard in Camira when we were just like you—looking for someone to cut the grass.

After calling around, we realized there were two big problems in the local industry. We found companies that were unreliable and never showed up, or we found quotes that were extremely overpriced for a standard job. We knew that if we were frustrated by the lack of options, our neighbors probably were too.

That frustration turned into a business. We decided to pick up the tools and build the company we wished we could have hired ourselves. Today, we are proud to serve the wider Ipswich area, offering a service that puts reliability and affordability first.

  • No, you do not need to be home. As long as we have clear access to the lawn (unlocked gates) and there are no pets in the yard, we can get the job done while you are at work or out for the day. We will send you a message when the job is finished.

  • Getting a quote is simple and free. You can contact us through our website or give us a call. We will generally look at your property (either in person or via satellite imagery if appropriate) to give you an honest, upfront price based on the size of your yard and the condition of the grass.

  • We try to make payment as easy as possible for you. We accept bank transfers and cash. We will provide you with the payment details once the job is completed or upon agreement of the quote.
